Resource – Ohio Department of Insurance newsletters and news releases
The Ohio Department of Insurance has some great resources that may be valuable to you and your clients. The ODI Insurance Insights Newsletter and their News Releases are two good examples. Recent e News Releases have addressed things such as the National Flood Insurance Program, small business disaster planning, severe weather insurance tips and how to create an inventory of your personal possessions so you get top dollar if they are lost, stolen or damaged. Recent newsletter topics addressed how to avoid being disappointed with travel insurance and what you should know about life insurance benefit retained asset accounts. For those of you who are looking for valuable information to pass on to your clients this is a great resource.
To subscribe to these resources go to the department’s home page at:
http://www.insurance.ohio.gov/
Once there, click on the Communications tab at the top of the screen.
To subscribe for both the newsletter and news releases, type the word, subscribe, into the search window. Click on the first link under the title Ohio Department of Insurance:

Scroll down to the last link on the page:
Click Here to subscribe or to unsubscribe
Click on this link to open the subscription options.
Click on the down arrow in the Mailing List box. You can select the newsletter first by highlighting it and providing your e mail address. Click on, subscribe, and then repeat the procedure to subscribe to news releases.
